I did some testing today to flip to Automatic and save the file but that didn’t work when I opened it up and flipped it back to Manual. The Zoom bar greyed out again. Thanks Jan for reply back so fast! The Status bar is already turned on but it’s not visible if I have Manual mode set for Calculations. I did open both a new Excel file and one of my existing file in Safe mode. Both the Status bar and Zoom slide were visible again. The file was still in Manual Calculation mode too.

I recently upgraded to Office and every time I start Outlook, the Redemption user agreement appears and needs to be completed to open Outlook.
Any thoughts on how to suppress this? I’ll shoot him another email – I asked him about it in a thread about another issue and he might have missed it.
